Midwifery (Avery Hill), BSc Hons
This midwifery degree equips you to become a registered midwife. Gain the skills to support expectant mothers through pregnancy and childbirth.
Midwifery (Degree Apprenticeship)
Our midwifery degree apprenticeship combines study but requires you to be employed by NHS Trust to be eligible to apply.

ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ is proud to present our brand-new Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre which will make a safe and realistic environment for students to learn.
Health placements
Our health courses are run in partnership with several NHS Trusts. Paramedic science students will undertake their clinical placement with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust or South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
I saw the advert for the apprenticeship when I was looking to further my career
I have always contemplated doing my midwifery training, especially having worked as a Maternity Support Worker (MSW) for many years. However the timing was never quite right with family commitments.
Communities and societies
Our active student-led societies offer a space for personal and academic growth, as well as new opportunities to make lasting friendships. Students can take part in activities throughout the year, both through the department and via the wider Students’ Union.
