MBA - Master of Business Administration

What are MBA degrees?

If you are an ambitious individual looking to further your career and set yourself apart from other working professionals, then an MBA from the University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ is for you. MBA degrees are advanced programmes that provide students with a strong foundation in various aspects of business management, finance, marketing and administration. You can explore sectors such as financial management, business strategy, corporate governance, sustainability and data modelling. Our internationally recognised courses will allow you to choose your own area of focus.

Even if you do not have a first degree in business, our programme will provide you with a solid grounding in business management, followed by international business courses, projects, and a guided internship. Through this programme, you will gain practical experience by securing an internship with a company of your choice (in the UK or overseas), allowing you to apply your knowledge and become a skilled and influential leader in the international business arena.

The Executive MBA is available on-campus or online. Our flexible study options allow you to combine work with your studies.

Our International MBA combines business management theory with a one-year internship, helping to meet employers’ needs.

Learn from lecturers with real-world experience. This ensures you're learning from experts who can share practical insights alongside theoretical knowledge.

International students may be eligible for scholarships that offer tuition fee grants, reducing the financial burden of your studies.

How students study

Teaching

Full-time: Learning is through a combination of lectures and seminars. You'll discuss and develop your understanding of lecture topics in smaller group sessions. Contact hours may fall between 9am and 9pm, depending on your elective courses.
Part-time / Open learning: With open learning, self-study is supported by on-campus evening workshops and online webinars. A Virtual Learning Environment provides access to online study and library resources and to forums where you can work collaboratively.

Class sizes

The typical student intake per year is up to 20. Lectures are normally attended by 20-45, and seminars/tutorials by 15-30, based on the 2018 intake. This varies by module, particularly if they are shared between degrees.

Independent learning

Outside of timetabled sessions, you'll need to dedicate time to self-study to prepare for coursework, presentations and exams. In particular, anyone studying via supported open learning will need to be disciplined and dedicate time to self-study. Our Stockwell Street library and online resources will support your further reading and research.

You can also join a range of student societies, including the ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ Entrepreneurs.

How MBAs are assessed
