Where are you from?
I am from India; which is where I did my bachelor's in business administration. My goal was to get the highest possible quality of education, which is what inspired me to apply abroad for my higher studies. My first choice of country, while applying for my Master's was the UK, namely because of its amazing academic reputation and broad choice of degrees that were available. It was not the easiest decision to make, what with the cost and change of studying in a new country. My father played a crucial role in getting me through this massive change. And I can safely say, the experience has been great! This decision made me come out of my comfort zone and explore a number of new things. It has been a year and a half year since moving to the UK, and this environmental and cultural shift, enabled me to become a more competent individual.
I think studying an MBA in International Business has enhanced my marketability as a professional and increased the quality and quantity of job opportunities for me in the future.
How did you find moving to London?

My favourite module was 'Global Business and Sustainability', as it provided me with a complete understanding of the managerial challenges that businesses face. It also focused on how global businesses run and deal with global challenges. It emphasised what resources are needed to run a business in a sustainable manner, by incorporating simulation games, which I think is one of the most innovative ways to teach. After completing the modules, there was an opportunity to explore and develop several highly transferable skills.

Despite Covid19 and all the issues with employability around the world, I managed to secure a placement with the University.
