Eng Ofetotse

Dr Eng Ofetotse BSc (Hons), PhD, FHEA

Senior Lecturer in Built Environment

Eng is a senior lecturer in built environment lecturing in building services engineering, renewable energy, sustainability and construction technology. She has a degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc Hons.) and a PhD in energy and environmental engineering both from the University of Reading. She is also a fellow of the higher education academy (FHEA).

Dr Ofetotse’ s research interests cover a range of engineering technology applications such as characterisation of household electricity consumption; energy load monitoring; energy profiling; energy modelling; renewable energy; smart-grids; building performance simulation and optimisation.

Eng is a project lead and Principal Investigator of the Innovate UK funded project which is aimed at delivering a clean, reliable and affordable energy solution to low-income households in Sub-Saharan Africa.
