Our School Advisory Board consists of industry professionals including alumni. The Board members bring in a range of skills, expertise and industry knowledge that helps continuously enhance our curriculum, content, practices. This ensures our programmes remain cutting-edge and continue to meet the needs of the emerging employment market.
Advisory Board Members
Sam Coulstock FIH MIEP
Head of Professional Development at the Institute of Hospitality (IoH), the global professional body for the hospitality industry.
He started his hospitality career in 1996 as an apprentice chef and become F&B Director for an independent hotel, before moving into Charity and Apprenticeships roles within the hospitality sector. He joined the IoH in August 2021.
Sam’s hospitality experience and passion means he is actively involved in the IoH’s CPD strategy, supporting its global members with lifelong learning opportunities to raise standards. He leads the IoH’s Education Membership Scheme (EMS) which offers the Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism (HLT) departments of universities and colleges the opportunity to sponsor individual Institute memberships to their students and leads the IoH Company Sponsored Membership (CSM) strategy, which helps allow businesses to retain and develop their leadership talent.
Sam is a member of the IoH College of Fellows and a Member of the Institute of Employability Professionals.
Jane Cave
Jane is an established marketing strategist with a skillset that combines both business and senior management experience for major brands and professional training organisations. A recognised thought leader on skills training and capabilities within the marketing and professional education sectors. A proven reputation for solving complex business problems, delivering outstanding customer experiences and sustained business growth. Board-level experience across a range of businesses, professional training organisations and universities. Strategic experience in the development and delivery of corporate and professional training programmes, including marketing, digital, data-driven marketing and senior leadership skills.
Navin Silwal
Currently working as a Cluster General Manager at NewFlex Ltd. managing 3 different centres in South London, Citibase Lewisham, Citibase Croydon and easyHub Croydon. A confident, dynamic, and resourceful professional with extensive expertise gained within a high-profile hospitality/leisure environment. Working experience in revenue management & in-depth knowledge of hotel operations. Worked as a General Manager at The XCHG which is an exclusive workspace nestled in the iconic 22 Bishopsgate. Also worked as a General Manager in 4 Star Boutique Hotels in Central London for 5 years. Worked as a Revenue Manager in Central London Hotels for 4 years. Graduated with Distinction from University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ (in master’s degree in international Tourism & Hospitality Management).
Stéfanie Bolduc
As a results-oriented marketing executive with over a decade of experience, Stéfanie has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation across a diverse range of industries. Specializing in strategic planning, channel marketing, sales enablement, and lead generation, she has consistently delivered outstanding results through data-driven approaches that optimize return on investment (ROI). Stéfanie is recognized for creating compelling, cross-platform marketing campaigns that ensure seamless customer experiences across multiple touchpoints.
In 2014, Stéfanie founded her own freelance company, Bold Communications, specializing in strategic marketing, communications, and PR. She has since helped start-ups craft comprehensive marketing, communication, and social media strategies, while also coordinating international events on a part-time basis. With expertise in marketing analytics, she drives customer acquisition, retention, and growth strategies, all while embracing digital transformation through innovative tools and platforms.
After a decade of collaborating with both domestic and international companies across diverse industries—developing and executing marketing strategies, targeted messaging, program initiatives, and global events—Stéfanie transitioned to full-time freelance consulting in 2024, where she continues to offer her strategic expertise.
Stéfanie holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Marketing from the University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ, UK, a post-graduate diploma in Public Relations from Grant MacEwan University in Canada, and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, Canada.
In her spare time, she enjoys coaching clients as a certified personal trainer and spending time with her rescue dog, Henri. Stéfanie is based in Ottawa, ON, Canada.
Emily Garland
Emily is currently an Events Coordinator at the City of London Corporation. As a part of the City Events Team, she plans and delivers a variety of events, from end-to-end, on behalf of the Corporation. The team oversee a busy programme of over 100 events a year ranging from lectures and receptions to bespoke dinners and large-scale ceremonial banquets, and a highlight of the year is the annual Lord Mayor’s Banquet in November. In 2022, Emily had the pleasure of delivering celebrations for the Platinum Jubilee, the proclamation of the new Sovereign upon the death of Her Majesty The Queen, and the State Banquet for the President of South Africa.
During the pandemic, Emily spent a year in the Committee and Member Services team overseeing the Clerking duties of the Corporation's Education Board, Tackling Racism Taskforce and Statues Working Group. Prior to this, Emily originally joined the Corporation as Events Administrator in 2018.
Emily is also Co-Chair of the Corporation's Women's Inclusive Network, leading a small team of officers to drive change within the organisation and support all those who identify as women, both professionally and personally.
As alumni of the BA Events Management programme at University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ (class of 2018), Emily is a keen advocate for supporting event professionals in the early stages of their career.
Mark Patron
Mark Patron has worked in data driven marketing for over 35 years. He has been a director of over 50 UK, Continental and US marketing businesses. Previously CEO of the marketing automation businesses RedEye, he was a co-founder of Transactis. Mark was part of the management team that developed the revenues of VNU’s marketing information business, now called Nielsen market research, from $150 million in 1994 to $2.5 billion by 2001. He was Chairman of Abacus Europe, now part of Publicis, and MD of Claritas UK, now part of Acxiom. Mark is a trustee of the Marketing Skills Trust. He was voted one of the UK’s 15 most influential direct marketers by readers of Precision Marketing magazine.
Don Limani
Don is a Director, People at Kroll, working as a trusted advisor, coach and partner to senior leaders supporting them through strategic business objectives and large-scale global transformation programmes. Don is seen as a change influencer, leading initiatives on organisational effectiveness and operational excellence, with a focus on culture, engagement, and the overall employee value proposition. Don has experience in the Financial Services sector as well as the Professional Services sector, and has a passion for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships. Don is CIPD qualified (Level 7), has a Bachelor of Arts in English with Media Writing, and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management.
Ryan Harding MCIPD ACIArb
With over a decade of experience in HR spanning both the public and private sectors, Ryan has held numerous strategic roles across the Healthcare, Utilities, Media and Technology sectors. Currently a Commercial Global Senior HR Business Partner at Endava (NYSE DAVA) he is responsible for leading all strategic people initiatives in 25 countries spread across EMEA, LATAM, NA and APAC.
Ryan holds a Bachelors Degree in Law (LL.B) from Nottingham Trent University, a Masters Degree in Employment Law (LL.M) from Middlesex University and a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management (MA) from the University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ. Furthermore, Ryan is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) as well as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
