Psychosocial Interventions Worker and a Specialist Mentor, Change, Grow, Live and Cosmic People

This photo is from my undergraduate graduation. It was a very proud and emotional day for me as there were so many times during the three years where I did not think I would get through it. This day was just perfect and this Snapshot is a great representation of that.

Memories of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ

I have so many amazing memories, the first being meeting the friends I did, who I have remained close to since graduating.

I miss my lecturers, specifically Rob and Richard. They were both very supportive during my years at ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ and continued to encourage and support me. I also miss the ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ campus and the surrounding areas; I still go back as much as I can to walk through the campus and parks.

When it came to choosing my university, ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ was a cut above the rest. The fact it offered Criminal Psychology with Criminology stood it out from other universities, and I knew that it was just what I had been looking for.

I enjoyed so much about the programme, but particularly my dissertation research of which Rob Willison was my supervisor and who gave me so much confidence in my academic abilities in addition to overall support.

My time at university has shaped me into the person I am today in relation to personal confidence, determination, and persistence. I had a lot of stress and personal issues to overcome whilst studying my undergraduate programme and the support and guidance I received while there has never left me.

Life after ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ

Since completing my studies at ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ, I have gone on to undertake a Masters in Forensic Criminology at Goldsmiths University. I currently work at Change, Grow, Live as a part-time Psychosocial Interventions Worker and I also work remotely as a specialist mentor for Cosmic People in addition to volunteering once a week for Circles South East.

My next aim is to undertake an online CBT diploma, Hypnotherapy diploma, and undertake my Stage 2 BPS Forensic Psychology, with the ultimate dream to become a Forensic Psychologist. My education from ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ has led me to continue in my pursuit for my dream career and has significantly improved my knowledge and confidence in my abilities of which I can apply daily in my work.
