This photo was taken during my first week at the ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ campus. It was the beginning of an exciting journey, ready to quench my thirst for knowledge.
Memories of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ
I have many good memories from ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ. Many of my fellow students became close friends, and we spent countless pleasant moments not only in classrooms but also in cafés. I enjoyed how popular the Old Royal Naval College, the ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ Campus, was with moviemakers. I met many different people in my years at ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ, through a mixture of nights out at the Students' Union, library trips & coursework-based projects. I also enjoyed spending time in the spring sunshine by the River Thames.
Life after ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ
I returned to Kenya after my graduation. I began working as a fiscal analyst with Mandera County Government a year after I completed my studies. My task was mainly the preparation of budget and County development plans. In January 2020, I was appointed as an Acting Director in charge of Monitoring and Evaluation. My job is to monitor and track key indicators on a quarterly basis and subsequently submit to my seniors.

Every student and new graduate goes through ups and downs – juggling doubts, taking detours, soul-searching. It’s all part of the adventure of self-discovery. It may be stressful at times, but also full of exciting new possibilities. Whichever course you are studying, strive to do your best. Follow your heart and with the skills cultivated at ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ, the world will recognize you.
