Junior Project Leader, Royal HaskoningDHV

I miss making new friends from all over the world, stressing about deadlines together, studying in the library. Medway campus was such a unique place.

Memories of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ

I love how I have met friendly students from all over the world and learnt about different cultures, it really changed my perspective about the world. Many of my (new) friends were not only from the UK but from all over the world.

During my 2nd and 3rd year I spent more time in the Drill Hall Library, on Medway campus. This was a unique place and if I wanted to hang out with my university friends, work on group projects, or study alone in silence and focus then this is where I would go.

Life after ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ

When I was in my first and second years, I felt distanced from my future life after university. But before I knew, the end of year 3 was approaching, so I started preparing my CV through the special assistance classes. I applied to jobs right after my exams and got accepted at Royal HaskoningDHV before my results came in. Thankfully, everything has gone well since then.

I’ve since been working at Royal HaskoningDHV, a major Engineering Consultancy company in the Netherlands, and have been able to develop myself to Junior Project Leader in the past few years. Currently I am working full time but I’m also studying part time to get an MSc in Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics at Delft Technical University.

It has been challenging, but I love to be challenged and one of my ambitions is to inspire the next generations of Engineers.
