Life at ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ and being away from home taught me a lot about myself. It was a rich experience which I will never forget.
Memories of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ
All the courses were really enlightening but the most fun was ‘Engineering Management’ where we were given real-life challenges to solve; this increased my liking towards the management side of the course.
One of the best lecturers was Dr.Hafid Belaidi. A smart & quick-witted professor, he used to challenge us with problems relating to computational fluid dynamics. While I found this subject challenging, he always motivated me to think more critically.
ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØing at Medway was a great experience. I lived in the Merlin accommodation building at Medway and joined several societies including UMSA Spartans Rugby Club, the Hindu Society & Capoeira Society.
The campus was fantastic as it had all the important facilities in one place, including the library just minutes away from my accommodation. Being close to Gillingham High Street helped create a lively atmosphere.
Life after ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ
After completing my undergraduate degree at ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ, I came back to India and studied a MBA in International Business & Marketing. Learnings from my undergrads and exposure in my postgrads boosted my researching capabilities which ultimately helped in gaining a patent here in India. I have founded HBScen, a company which retails essential oils and introduces new innovative products to the essential oils market. I have also launched business & campaign management services under the same brand name and want to expand my product portfolio in the future, including brand merchandising.
