Critical Care Unit Sister, Lewisham and ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ NHS Trust

My programme at ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ equipped me with the proper theory-based knowledge to move further with my nursing career.

Memories of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ

Firstly, I miss most the colours of the trees. Secondly, I miss all the teachers we had during the course and of course my colleagues. Looking back, I am so proud and grateful to ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ for how far we’ve come.

I chose this photo as I was so happy after I finished my programme. It brings me back to my first days at university where, along with my colleagues, I was clueless on how our university lives in the UK would be but, with all smiles we welcomed with open arms the challenges, the fun and all else in between.

Life after ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ

I have been an Intensive Care Unit Nurse now for 5 years and dealing with Covid-19 patients since the pandemic began. In addition to my role, I am a mentor for students from the University as well as other schools, and for our junior staff nurses. In the future, I am looking to join the Resuscitation Team or become an Advanced Care Practitioner.
