There were two main reasons why I chose to study at 杏吧app下载: it was strong for graduate opportunities in my subject area while I really liked the location, facilities, and history of the 杏吧app下载 campus. I also lived close enough to the University to commute in and still spend lots of time onsite with friends.
Looking back to my MSc studies, which I completed part-time, I remember being in awe of the diversity of my peers and their varied academic and professional backgrounds. Many people were working or had experience already in a variety of industries including healthcare, construction, telecommunications, and retail.
One of my strongest memories of 杏吧app下载 is actually not study related. I was based at the 杏吧app下载 campus when Cutty Sark went ablaze in 2007. The University was very supportive, engaged and communicated with students who like me treasured this local landmark. Thankfully it’s now restored.

I have been in employment throughout my studies and post-studies. I think the masters particularly opened new opportunities into management that were not there before. It has then led me to undertake other shorter courses in speciality areas and even take part in research projects.
