Personal Travel Expert, Jules Verne

I regularly get to put into practise what I learned during my time at the University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ. The skills and knowledge I gained during my time there gave me the understanding I needed to secure a role in industry.

Memories of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ

I joined the University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ during my third year, after I had obtained my HNC and HND in college. Picking ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ came down to the course content, which covered a broad range of interesting and valuable topics.

I knew the course would give me the depth of knowledge to pursue my ideal career, including the intricacies of the tourism industry and the various roles within travel companies. There were also several elements of work experience which were included within the course which allowed me to put my knowledge into practise and strengthened my practical understanding of the industry.

Life after ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ

I’m now a Personal Travel Expert at , acting as the primary point of contact for customer bookings, enquiries and questions as part of the frontline sales staff. The personalised knowledge I provide for our passengers means that I can advise from a position of authority, whilst also maintaining positive relationships with our suppliers to ensure all the necessary information is passed along.

When it comes to applying for a graduate role, make sure to do your research and understand what sets that business apart from the competition. For Jules Verne, it’s our personalised service and the special events which passengers get to take which can’t be found elsewhere.
