University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ did not merely provide me with a degree, rather they gave me the life lessons and exposure to real-life situations. Self-realisation, self-survival & self-development are all major outcomes of my time at university.
Memories of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ
My most valuable memories are from living in student accommodation at Avery Hill with such a multicultural community. This opened me up to different languages, cultures, religions and beliefs. The University also offered great opportunities for student employment. Achieving the very first job of my career with ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ taught me how to manage my study and work simultaneously.
The University’s multiculturalism was one the main reasons I chose to study at ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ; to help me exchange cultural values and create strong networks. I wanted to build a career in international markets with multinational companies. Therefore, the MBA in International Business programme gave me the most insightful modules for my career.
Life after ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ
Within six months of completing my degree, I secured an international relations role at a multinational company in my home country. After working there for two years, I have since progressed in the IT industry. I am in the same field of International Business Development but now in a senior position.
My future goal is to progress to the position of International Business Development Manager in a recognized international IT company. My personality, attitude, verbal and writing abilities, interpersonal and orientation skills are the most helpful self-learnt traits that I have developed thanks to my studies at ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ. In each phase of my professional life, these skills have helped me to develop into a more confident and enhanced person than the rest of the crowd.
