Ana-Maria Totea

Dr Ana-Maria Totea PhD

Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Science

Ana joined the University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ in 2023 as a Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Science. She previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Huddersfield on a project in collaboration with Paxman Scalp Cooling. The role involved the formulation of a topically applied product aimed to enhance the effect of scalp cooling and change the lives of millions of people undergoing chemotherapy.

Ana worked in industry as a development scientist between 2019 and 2021 for Thornton & Ross, in the development and validation of analytical methods such as high-performance liquid chromatography following the ICH and GMP guidelines. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Huddersfield, and a BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ.
