Laura Mackenzie
Programmer lead and Senior Lecturer in Midwifery
Laura Mackenzie is a Senior Lecturer for Midwifery in the School of Health Sciences at the University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ. Prior to her role with the University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ, Laura had a diverse NHS career within acute and community midwifery practice. She has recently moved from her position as Consultant Midwife at the PRUH, and her previous roles have focused on education, mentoring, personalised birth planning, safeguarding and community/case loading.
Laura has a keen interest in simulation and has been previously involved in PROMPT and out of hospital obstetric emergencies training with the LAS. She is currently studying for her PGCert in Clinical Education. Laura is a link lecturer at PRUH and Kings (Denmark Hill).
