Mao (Maggie) is a researcher specialising in secondary data analysis with a focus on operations and supply chain management. Her research interests also encompass sustainability fraud, business crises, and social media data analytics. Prior to joining the University of ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ (UoG), Maggie obtained her doctoral degree in Logistics and Operations Management from Cardiff Business School. Her PhD research is titled “Exploring the Response and Performance of the Aviation Supply Chain and Ecosystem in Times of Crisis”. Maggie also holds a master’s degree in Management with Business Finance (Distinction) from the University of York.

Responsibilities within the university

Teaching Maggie leads the module MARK1189 – Procurement and Supply Management (24-25).
Maggie also teaches the modules OPER1027 - Operations Management, MARK1202 - International Logistics and Supply Chain Management, BUSI1625 - Logistics Technologies  (23-24).


Research
Maggie is a co-organiser of the special interest group of Business Analytics and a member of Early Career Networks (ECR) and Networks Urban Systems Centre (NUSC).


Supervision
Maggie also supervise MA students in International Business projects.
