Project benefits

Personal benefits include:

  1. Flexible working: making working from home easier. Docking stations and monitors on campus will enable easier work across our sites.
  2. Compatibility: using a single device gives you the same experience at home and at the office. You will have the same access to software and applications both off and on campus.
  3. Security: centrally managed devices improve data and system security and reduce risk, especially data protection.
  4. Prevent downtime when replacement is required: We will keep track of device lifecycles and warranty periods. You won't need to request a new device as the IT asset team will set up devices ready to be swapped at the end of the device lifecycle.
  5. Enhanced support with managed devices: If you encounter any technical issues while using a work laptop at home, you will be able to receive an enhanced service. If your laptop needs to be inspected or repaired, you will have access to temporary replacement laptops. This will enable you to continue your work seamlessly.
