Welcome to the start of the new academic year, it's great to see our campuses busy with new and continuing students and colleagues.
We know that many of you will be following the political events around Brexit closely. It is likely that the coverage of these events will be high profile over the coming weeks, and we recognise that the ongoing uncertainty may cause anxiety. This update outlines where you can find further information and who you can contact if you have concerns or queries that you want to discuss.
While the UK remains a full member of the European Union there will not be any change to the status or rights of EU/EEA nationals. Those currently studying or working in the UK should not expect any disruption to their studies or employment.
There is a single location for all the Information and Guidance on Brexit that the university has compiled which can be found on the portal home page. This information is updated on a regular basis and contains information for both students and staff.

You can also contact your Students' Union leaders at
Staff: If you have any concerns or queries regarding the effect on you of the UK's departure from the European Union, please speak to your senior manager or our HR team in the first instance.
We will continue to provide updates as and when new information is available.
