ÐÓ°ÉappÏÂÔØ’s new BSc Hons Physiotherapy course is an exciting addition to our suite of healthcare-related courses. Our new course offers you a practical and applied course that will prepare you for the clinical environment of practice placements and graduate roles.
You’ll grow and develop both your personal and professional attributes and skills whilst providing you with the belief and confidence that there are no boundaries to what can be achieved.
The course will be located at our Avery Hill Campus in Eltham, southeast London. Our state-of-the-art learning and simulation facilities boast three, five bedded clinical wards, consultation and triage rooms, skills labs, and a fully furnished community flat. Our facilities are equipped with cutting-edge simulation equipment and integrated AV/IT support. In addition to these facilities a teaching space dedicated to physiotherapy teaching as well as a strength and conditioning space for rehabilitation will be utilised.
You’ll have the opportunity to explore anatomy in an applied way and understand through case studies and patient pathway how to assess, treat, refer, and rehabilitate through the process of clinical reasoning. From the applied anatomy modules to emerging roles, you’ll be able to apply theory to practical application that considers not only the intervention for service users but how other factors like the environment may impact on individuals’ health.
From Year One you’ll be on practice placements and will experience a broad spectrum of environments where you’ll further develop theory and skills in real world settings and scenarios. Placements will range from acute to community, primary care to sporting settings, and leadership to research areas.
Our new Physiotherapy course is an exciting ‘hands-on’ course that seeks to prepare you for the roles you’ll apply for on graduation and beyond.
