What is the Digital Marketing Suite?
The Digital Marketing Suite serves as a creative hub, providing students on a number of our Marketing and Advertising courses with access to a range of marketing tools and resources. From digital analytics to consumer behaviour insights, this space equips our students with the knowledge and skills to navigate - and excel in - today's competitive marketing landscape.
Opened in late 2023, the space aims to give the students who get to use it something of a sense of working in a marketing or advertising agency as the facility has been designed to facilitate engagement and creativity with activities such as in-class sprints and hackathon-styled activities.
Software-wise, Mersive is room’s core. This is a tool which enables the real-time sharing of participants’ creative work - ideal for promoting interactive discussions, hackathon sprints and enhancing the learning experience. The software allows active-learning scenarios, with students able to share their screens on the pod monitors as they work. Instructors are able to beam those screens over to the main teaching screen, or to other student screens.
The other software used in the space is Tableau (which helps visualisation and understanding of marketing data analytics), Adobe Creative Suite (for creating advertising content) and SPSS statistical and NVivo (for data analysis in consumer behaviour research).
